Privacy Policy

This explains what data we collect when you visit this website, subscribe, or buy one of our apps — and, just as importantly, what the apps themselves never send us.

1. Your app data stays on your device

Our apps (budgets, bills, tasks) are local-first: everything you enter — transactions, budgets, tasks, notes — is stored only in your own browser or device, never sent to us or to any server. We cannot see it, back it up for you, or recover it if you clear your browser data. Exporting/backing up your own data is something you do yourself, inside the app.

2. Data we collect on this website

• Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 to understand overall site traffic and behavior (pages viewed, general location, device type). This data is aggregated and not used to identify you personally.
• Advertising: we use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API (including a server-side event sent when a purchase is completed) to measure and improve the performance of our ads. This can include your email in a privacy-safe, hashed form, as required by Meta.
• Email subscription: if you sign up for a discount or our newsletter, your email address is stored with Klaviyo, our email provider, to send you that discount, product updates and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.

3. Data collected at checkout

Purchases on this website are processed entirely by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. We never see or store your card details. Lemon Squeezy collects what it needs to process payment and issue your invoice (name, email, billing address, VAT details where applicable) under its own privacy policy.

4. Cookies

This site uses cookies/local storage needed for the site to function, plus the analytics and advertising tools listed above. You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time; some site features (like remembering a discount) may stop working if you do.

5. How long we keep data

Billing records are kept as long as required by Romanian accounting law. Marketing/email data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics and ad data are retained per Google's and Meta's own standard retention periods.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or request a copy of your personal data, and to object to how it's processed. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@ezplanning.studio.

7. Third parties we rely on

Lemon Squeezy (payments), Google Analytics (analytics), Meta (advertising), Klaviyo (email) each act under their own privacy policy for the data they process on our behalf.

We may update this policy from time to time; the version published here is the one that applies, with its last-updated date shown above.
